Chichester tilers.
It's all in the prep.
Domestic and commercial tiling and brick slips, across West Sussex, Hampshire and Brighton.
The Bear Free House, Littlehampton. Over 100m² of brick slips, arches and a mosaic bar front.
What we lay
Bathrooms to beach toilet blocks. A page on each, with our own photos and what we have learnt doing it.

Bathrooms
Tiling only, or the whole bathroom from strip-out to second fix.

Wet rooms
Trays, tanking, niches and falls, built up on a full Jackoboard system.

Kitchens and splashbacks
Floors, splashbacks and feature walls, timed around your fitter.

Floors and large format
Porcelain up to 1000x1000 and open-plan ground floors set out properly.

Brick slips
Our specialism. Walls, arches and floors, laid and pointed.

Natural stone and terracotta
Limestone, travertine, slate and terracotta, laid and sealed.

Commercial tiling
Pubs, coffee shops, offices and care homes, in and out of hours.

Floor prep and underfloor heating
Priming, levelling, matting and heat mats before any tile goes down.

Terraces and balconies
Porcelain on pedestals or bonded, with falls that run to the drain.
Recent work, with the numbers

A high end result expected on our domestic projects, finished at the pace expected on our commercial projects.

Most of the job is what you never see
Know your product, know your prep, learn the process. It saves you money later, and it is why the tiles stay where we put them.
Floors levelled flat
The Boardwalk Cafe, Chichester: 70m² primed and levelled. The area had multiple height issues, and it finished flat.

Wet areas tanked before a tile
Tile, adhesive and grout do not make a shower watertight. So we build with a full Jackoboard tray and tanking system first.

Matting where the floor needs it
Decoupling mat takes up sideways stress between floor and tile. A floor that bounces needs stiffening first.

Sealed and grouted in the right order
Our terracotta floor: semi-rapid adhesive, boiled linseed oil, antique ageing wax, then sealed again after grouting.
Set out your room
Put in your room and a tile, and we will draw where the cuts land. It is the same sum we do on site before the first tile goes down.

Sam is very good at what he does, clearly loves what he does and it reflects in all that he does. If I could rate Sam 20 out of 10 I would!Kitchen customer, Climping
